Events Available For Private Parties:
(available for up
to 45 guests)
Aged to Perfection Wine Dinner
Not many things age with grace. In fact
only two things come to mind –
turn of the century Mansion and fine
wine.
Perhaps you have cellared a fine wine because it is a collectible, or
hard to find,
or quite simply, it induces nostalgia.
Imagine an
opportunity to uncork that bottle aged wine you have been treasuring,
waiting for that special occasion to come along.
Whatever the reason,
this will be the occasion - the time is now…..
There’s no finer place than Stimson-Green
Mansion
to uncork your vintage wine than in our vintage home.
Our house
plays host to this unforgettable evening.
Upon arrival, sip on a
champagne cocktail, nibble on delicious appetizers
and tour our
beautifully restored Mansion.
A sit down coursed dinner to complement
the wine tasting will then follow in the Library.
This dinner promises to be intimate, as you debut,
along with other wine
enthusiasts your matured wine.
You will partake in sharing one another’s
laid down wines,
savoring their complexity while enjoying your meal.
Chocolate Wine Pairing Dinner
Some say it can’t be done……... We believe it can
be.
Pairing wine with chocolate, can be a match made in
heaven,
but only if you have the right wine to complement the
right chocolate.
That is why we have brought in the experts ~
Theo
chocolate and David Le Claire, local sommelier.
Host a private party, invite your friends and enjoy
this experience,
when two of life’s greatest pleasures share the stage,
in
this enlightening and entertaining tasting exploration.
Every course is made with chocolate and paired with
wine.
Experience exquisite sensations, as these two elements combine.
Chocolate used in this wine dinner comes exclusively from Theo
Chocolate.
The chocolate makers at Theo carefully steward their cacao (cocoa beans)
through the process of roasting, blending and conching
in order to coax
out the distinctive flavor imparted by each unique growing region.
They are the first roaster of Fair Trade Certified™ cocoa beans and
the
only roaster of organic cocoa beans in the United States.
Theo is
located in the Fremont area of Seattle.
